However, it's not quite as free-form with the layout as DiaryLand or other blog sites. It's also not ''designed'' for this type of use, but I think it could work. Change from DiaryLand
So. What do people think about the Rants being moved here as opposed to diaryland? The wiki gives me much more freedom with edits, comments, uploads, etc. Also, it allows me to have everything back on the Tometheus.com domain again. However, it's not quite as free-form with the layout as DiaryLand or other blog sites. It's also not designed for this type of use, but I think it could work. Tell me which image should go into my permanent Gallery, if any. I like the last two bud + snow pictures, but I can't decide which I like better. Help me out here! (OK, you can give me your thoughts on GW too and tell me how wrong I am, etc, etc, but please be polite :D) -- Tometheus (talk) 10:27, 11 April 2007 (CDT)
Gallery selection
I personally am leaning towards the last image when it's at full scale -- Tometheus (talk) 11:47, 11 April 2007 (CDT)

Addendum
All I have to say is: Hear hear! --Magin846 12:32, 13 April 2007 (CDT)
- Well, my rejoinder is: Think think! :) All too often people hear someone say something and they just spout it back without thinking about what they're saying. Sheep, blindly following the leader. (Thus the word Perry and I semi-coined: sheeple. Although I've heard other people use it since, so it must exist somewhere else.) -- Tometheus (talk) 12:42, 13 April 2007 (CDT)
- Think about this.. in our yearly fluctuation, we go from roughly -15C to 40C right now (average ~12C). Imagine a world that goes from ~0C to 55C (32F to 131F) And yet life still survived that! Life can even survive in Hydrothermal vents, and they can get up to 400C! -- Tometheus (talk) 13:18, 13 April 2007 (CDT)

- NOTE, this is disputing Al Gore's version of Global Warming itself, which is interesting, but again, not my point in the Rant. My point was that while the climate may be warming, it doesn't mean the destruction of life itself as the fearmongers would have us believe. (Life got it's great diversity during previous warm cycles on the planet.) Pollution itself is what we need to focus on, not just CO2 emissions. Also, the source of this article (SPPI) is clearly biased, but they still have some good points. (To average out with Gore's arguments and cancel each other out :) .)
