Feel free to create an account and comment on the discussion pages (or add content to the ones I already have). If you want to create your own reviews, you can create your own wiki and tell me about it so I can comment ;) (In the future, I might muck around with namespaces to make this more of a general review wiki, but right now, it's just to let friends know / discuss things I've read lately.)

2008

20080316 Gamera the Brave (movie)
Didn't like the reboot per se, but I was prepared for it, so relative to the rebooted universe it was decent. Baby Gamera cute. (7/8)

2007

20070614 Lady in the Water by M Night Shyamalan (movie)
Liked the possibilities of the mythos, hated the movie adaption. (3/8)
20070125 The Tawney Man trilogy by Robin Hobb (book)
Disappointed by the last book, but overall an interesting excursion into her universe. (7/8)
20070105 Wind from a Burning Woman by Greg Bear (book)
I almost always enjoy Greg Bear short stories. Particularly since the title story of this book has the fledgling ideas for what would become one of my favorite books of all time, Eon. (9/8)
20070103 Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe (audio)
Overrated, unless I'm missing something. (4/10)

2006

20061227 The War of the Flowers by Tad Williams (book)
It was ok. Not great, not terrible. (7/8).
20061215 Nemesis by Isaac Asimov (book)
Now here is a good book (10/10)! (Ratings probably skewed by the last two books I read.)
20061202 The Sprawl Series by William Gibson (book)
I liked Neuromancer (9/9). Count Zero (2/9) and Mona Lisa Overdrive (3/2)? Not so much.
20060923 Cat-A-Lyst by Alan Dean Foster (book)
Good fun, but some knowledge required for full enjoyment (9/8)
20060917 Moving Mars by Greg Bear (book)
great "What if?" question / answer. (10/10)
20060910 The Fountains of Paradise by Arthur C. Clarke (book)
Good science, good story. (10/8)
20060903 Puppet Masters by Robert A. Heinlein (book)
Entertaining, but the cultural misogynism detracts. (8/8)
20060901 Awakening Osiris by Normandi Ellis (book)
Good language, bad mythology. (2/10)
20060303 Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson (audio)
Still a good story and the recording was better than expected (10/8)
20060214 Legend of Crystania (anime)
Definitely did not live up to expectations. Feature: (4/10) OVA: (5/4)
20060110 A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (audio)
Hey, it's a classic (10/10)
20060103 Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (book)
Good read, but no American Gods (7/9)
20060103 The Genesis Machine by James P Hogan (book)
Physicists will love it (9/10)

2005

20051225 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J K Rowling (book)
Good, but could be better (8/10)
20051223 The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra (audio, abridged)
Too much argument by similarity (7/9)
