  • Comments: I took my spotting 'scope and projected the image onto a piece of plain paper. I then photographed the paper as the transit occured, then I took the images and adjusted the contrast like a madman to get what you see here. (You can see the edge of the 'scope's field of view in the second frame.) The first frame is what the camera actually saw looking directly at the sun.
